Irish Whiskey Tasting Event - March 7th - Ticketed Event
Experience the Magic of Irish Whiskey at Stoney J’s Winery!
Join us for an unforgettable evening of Irish Whiskey exploration with whiskey expert Jason Puckett. This exclusive tasting will take you on a journey through the four distinct styles of Irish Whiskey—each offering its own unique flavor profile and rich heritage.
Irish Whiskey is one of the oldest distilled spirits in the world—dating back to at least the 12th century when Irish monks brought the art of distillation home from their travels. During the 1800s, Irish Whiskey was the most popular spirit in the world, outselling Scotch and American whiskey by a long shot, but then went nearly dormant for the next 100 years.

More about Jason Puckett:
“Although originally from the hometown of Four Roses and Wild Turkey, my journey began in Colorado Springs during the microbrew boom of the ’90s. I enjoyed every new beer that showed up which then carried into my travels in the Air Force where I would try the local brews across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
It wasn’t until a decade later that I started to appreciate Bourbon, Scotch, Tequila, and more recently, Gin and Brandy. With a background in engineering and finance, I’m driven to learn about the how and why. I now use that passion to become more than just a drinker of spirits, but attempt to understand the history, artistry, and people that go into crafting each bottle.”
