January is a natural reset. Palates are fresh. Expectations are open. This tasting is designed for exactly that moment.
Rather than revisiting the usual legacy bottles, this guided experience highlights a new generation of American producers who are shaping bourbon and rye with clarity, balance, and intention. These are bottles you may not see poured often, but once tasted, they tend to stick.
Guests will explore four thoughtfully selected whiskeys:
three bourbons that show modern approaches to mash bills, blending, and barrel use, followed by a softer, more approachable rye that offers contrast without overwhelming spice.

“Although originally from the hometown of Four Roses and Wild Turkey, my journey began in Colorado Springs during the microbrew boom of the ’90s. I enjoyed every new beer that showed up which then carried into my travels in the Air Force where I would try the local brews across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
It wasn’t until a decade later that I started to appreciate Bourbon, Scotch, Tequila, and more recently, Gin and Brandy. With a background in engineering and finance, I’m driven to learn about the how and why. I now use that passion to become more than just a drinker of spirits, but attempt to understand the history, artistry, and people that go into crafting each bottle.”
