Taking a leap of faith, they planted grapes and thus began their extraordinary story. As the owners of our winery, they are the guiding force behind every aspect of our operation. From managing the finances to meticulously handcrafting our pizza and pretzel dough, Sean and Stephanie are involved in every detail. Their passion, dedication, and hands-on approach have shaped our winery into the thriving, welcoming place it is today.

Joe Smith, our esteemed vintner at Stoney J's Winery since 2022, brings over 20 years of winemaking expertise and a passion for crafting exceptional wines. A respected and multi-awarded consultant to many wineries along the East Coast, Joe's artistic approach to winemaking allows him to create truly unique styles for each winery he works with. His deep sense for developing the best flavors from the grape, combined with meticulous attention to detail, ensures that every wine reflects the distinct characteristics of our terroir.
Joe oversees every facet of the winemaking process, from selecting the finest grapes to fermenting, aging, and blending, striving to achieve the perfect balance of flavor, aroma, and texture in each bottle. His expertise has earned him multiple Best of Class, Double Gold, and Gold medals at the prestigious San Francisco Wine Competition—often regarded as the Super Bowl of wine competitions. We are thrilled to have Joe continue crafting ultra-quality wines of character and distinction for Stoney J’s, making each sip a true delight for the senses.

Meet the dynamic duo of Stoney J's: Ryan and Jordyn. Jordyn has been an integral part of building this legacy from the very beginning. Ryan came aboard in 2022, lending his hand to all aspects of running this farm winery.
In 2023, Jordyn and Ryan officially joined forces as our powerhouse team for wine production and wholesale. Together, they bring passion, dedication, and expertise to every aspect of crafting our wines and expanding our reach.
As the wine production and wholesale team, Ryan and Jordyn oversee the entire process from grape to bottle. They meticulously tend to the vineyards, ensuring the grapes reach their fullest potential. With a keen eye for detail, they manage the winemaking process, crafting exquisite wines that embody the essence of our terroir.
In addition to production, Ryan and Jordyn handle wholesale operations, building relationships with distributors and retailers to bring our wines to new markets. Their dedication to quality and innovation ensures that Stoney J's wines are enjoyed by wine enthusiasts far and wide.
EMILY MCAFEE
DIRECTOR OF EVENTS & MARKETING
Emily joined Stoney J's in 2022, starting off as a versatile team member, assisting in the kitchen, behind the bar, and occasionally serving. After taking a brief hiatus for her wedding, she returned in early 2023 with a renewed focus. Taking the reins of our events and marketing, Emily has been instrumental in shaping our brand and expanding our reach.
As the Director of Events and Marketing, Emily oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all events hosted by Stoney J's. This includes everything from intimate dinners to large-scale celebrations. She works closely with clients to understand their needs and visions, ensuring each event is tailored to perfection. In addition, Emily spearheads the marketing efforts, developing strategies to promote Stoney J's, increase brand awareness, and attract new customers. Whether it's crafting engaging social media campaigns, coordinating with local media outlets, or organizing promotional events, Emily's creativity and attention to detail shine through in every aspect of her work.
